Book 1: The Rabbit Listened
I really admire and love the playfulness of a charcoal, pencil, crayon textured brush, but no matter how trendy it is, I always want inks and watercolor. It’s hard for me to make hard shadows. While they may not look hard to the viewer, it feels that way to me.
But I do love how animated this book feels with the line work. It does let the charcoal do a lot of the work.
